and surrounding areas in Mid Wales.

The rural parish of Treflys is situated between the towns of Builth Wells and Llanwrtyd Wells in Powys, Mid Wales.

BEULAH SPECKLED FACE SHEEP

Beulah and the surrounding area is famous for the Beulah Speckled Face domestic breed of sheep. Having been bred in the uplands of Wales for more than a hundred years, a breed society was officially formed in 1958.

Situated in Powys, Mid Wales, Treflys Community Council covers the rural villages of Garth and Beulah.

In the Middle Ages, Treflys was a "Cwmwd" within the Cantref of Buellt.
